Designer Profile

Beverly’s talent lies in creating individual and distinctive designs for each client, both residential and commercial, that have a timeless, rather than trendy quality, that reflect and enhance her client’s lifestyles and personal and professional images.

She believes design is about listening to the client to combine practical needs with the dream held in their mind, tempering it with the architectural limitations of the space, and creating a totally unique and exquisitely beautiful solution, within time and within budget that answers those needs in such a way that it enriches the client’s life on a daily basis.

As a certified designer, professional member of ASID and past president of the Orange County chapter, she brings professionalism, ethical values, and 27 years of professional practice and associations to her projects.

The walls are rich with metallic gold waxed Venetian plaster, complementing the varying shades and textures of wheat and gold throughout. Lush, sensual, and just a few steps down the private stairs to a hidden jacuzzi-what a wonderful adult getaway!
When this home remodel was planned the typical bedroom/sitting area configuration was 'swapped' to accommodate the 5 children who loved to spend the latter part of the evening with their parents completing homework, playing a game of checkers or chess, or conversing about the day. This new plan accommodates the family beautifully.
This intimate conversation area is an inviting spot to enjoy a glass of wine from the adjacent wine room in front of the hearth

The many architectural problems with the varying window heights have been concealed utilizing the faux roman valances that also lend much needed height to the living area. Note the exquisite full height custom fireplace.

This bath has been transformed from a track home bath to one of pure luxury. The built in cabinetry has been replaced with custom his and her black crackle vanities with enclosed interior pull out drawers and shelving. Cross cut travertine flooring, inset with black onyx patterns throughout defines each space from the bedroom entry throughout the bath. The sink cabinets counters are gold onyx under which a gold mosaic oval sink is set. Gold hardware complements the selection. The onyx and travertine molding carries through the back wall to join the two vanity areas and provide the back-splash for the tub, where inset black onyx breaks up the stone facade. The back wall of the room is mirrored between glazed molding sections, the center most of which houses an LCD TV, easily viewed from the vanity mirrors.
Country French Kitchen with beautiful Jerusalem Gold Limestone counters, hand hewn hickory flooring, and a farm sink. To hold costs down, we saved the interiors of the client's existing cabinetry, and provided all new drawers and door fronts, along with new melamine interiors for her existing shells. The appliances update the function of her space, and the fresh new fabrics and fun drapery design make her smile every morning.

Another view of the room, and a peek into the toilet area where we created two 'steppes' in the wall to house vases for fl orals. The owners idea of a true 'throne room'.
Marbella modern. This kitchen is unbelievable in person! The cabinetry stair steps on top to create interest. The counter top surface is a beautiful Caesarstone with bits of silver glimmer because the client loves a bit of 'glitz' in everything-so why not in the kitchen? The cabinetry finish is a hard, durable, beautiful epoxy color rich finish. But the real beauty is the cabinet on the far side of the room that separates the kitchen from the family room: it is in a zigzag configuration, and the center opens to form a buffet pass through area for entertainment. Cabineture Cabinetry engineered the near impossible with this one. See more on their site. Wow-we had some fun with this!
The combination of the antique white perimeter cabinetry with the darker center island provides a light but inviting look in this large 'cook's' kitchen. The arched cabinets, painted tiles and iron touches provide the Santa Barbara influence that this client desired.
