Designer Profile

Wendi Young established her full-service interior design firm in 1995 after designing interiors for various other companies. Since then, she has designed custom residences throughout the United States; developed a niche for the architectural design of custom homes; and expanded her business to include commercial projects.

The work of WYD is as diverse as the clients they represent. From luxury oceanfront homes on the California coast, to a mountaintop retreat in Colorado, to a sprawling ranch home in Rancho Santa Fe; each one reflects the personality and lifestyle of the individual client. Whether it is a contemporary home with Asian influences; a country French home filled with Provencal furnishings; or a Spanish Colonial home finished with handcrafted materials, the commonalities are understated elegance and appropriate detailing.

Wendi's work has been featured in various publications including Traditional Home, C Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, The Orange County Register, Orange Coast Magazine, Costa D’ Oro Magazine, and Orange County Home. Her work has also appeared on Entertainment Tonight and Channel 9 News and she has had five homes showcased on the Corona Del Mar and Newport Harbor Home Tours.
