Award winning Principal designer Shala Shamardi has been a resident of Newport Beach for over 30 years and has worked in design-related fields for over 14 years. Known for her innate design ability, she is an avid international traveler who draws from a rich variety of design styles to create distinctive, tasteful spaces.
In addition to her existing B.A. degree, she returned to school to pursue her love of design and received an additional degree from Interior Designer Institute (a FIDER accredited design school in Newport Beach) with the highest recognitions in all fields.

Most recently, Shala was the featured designer in the July 2011 and March 2012 issues of Newport Beach Magazine. She has also been published in various other publications including Orange Coast Magazine, Orange County Home magazine, The Orange County Register, Henry Schein Magazine, Coast Magazine, and Riviera.
Shala is an Allied member of American Society of Interior Design (ASID) and an Associate member of International Interior Design Association (IIDA). She has been involved in leadership roles within ASID as a chair person for 2008-2011.
