Designer Profile

Designing for "YOUR" lifestyle and understanding the “needs of the client” is my main goal. When working with clients I believe in providing creative solutions for every individual. I love to create new and innovative designs for cabinetry, countertops, furniture, floor plans and anything else that might be required. Designing in California is like no other with its amazing coastal view’s from Newport Coast and Dana Point to beautiful mountain homes and vineyard getaways.

TESTIMONIALS -
“Kimberly is a fantastic Interior Designer. She listened to our issues and presented several alternatives. She worked within our budget and assisted with all aspects of our home remodel.”
Bob & Wendy Gorelick

“We recently photographed Kimberly's work at the 2009 ASID Design Tour. Her designs were fresh and well thought out. She also finished her work ahead of schedule which allowed us to complete our assignment on time. I would highly recommend Kimberly to anyone looking for a first class designer.”
Jim Doyle

"We wanted to Thank You for the beautiful interior design work that you did on our home. I know we presented some special challenges with our small zoo of 3 medium sized, active dogs and our 2 cats and our very tight budget. Your work demonstrates that you can have a beautiful home and an active household.
Throughout the whole design process you kept our needs and budget in mind. You maintained a perfect balance between allowing our design preferences to come through and your design. You were also very skilled in bringing the feel, warmth and color of our Vineyard locale into your design. We were able to complete the project very quickly-especially considering it was almost the entire 4,000 sq foot house.
I can’t begin to tell you how many complements we have had on the design work when people come into our home.
Gratefully Yours,
Patti & Cynthia

"You have such a professional, but likable demeanor. You listened and always went way beyond the expected - something most interior designers don't do. I loved all of your ideas and can only see that you will continue to grow."

ASID Urban Living Tour 2009 - A mix of contemporary and Art Deco bring this loft bedroom alive. Vibrant colors and rich textures emphasize the metropolitan energy in this fresh design. Suspended drum lights and sheer backdrops highlight clean lines, while pewter accents and abstract art add a unique flare. Irvine

Lodi, CA -
With the kitchen being the main gathering place I wanted to create a large open feel with plenty of work area. I added a prep sink, separate ovens and two long counters for work space with stools on one side for countertop dining. The use of natural stone, caramel cabinets and European touches fell right in line with the surrounding 3 acres of vineyard. Lodi
Lodi, CA -
A large square space becomes casual and cozy. I used a mixture of styles and textures to give a traveled feel and easy to clean furniture to share with their furry friends. Lodi

HIS & HERS! This was a complete remodel from ground up. This is the “HIS” bathroom with walk-in closet, steam shower, water closet and custom sink space. The concrete counter and integrated sink was custom designed along with the cabinetry. I added hidden outlets, slid out medicine drawer and large storage drawers below. Natural stone flooring with radiant heating will keep his feet warm in the winter. Tustin

This is the “HERS” bathroom with walk-in closet, walk-in shower, water closet and custom sink space. A mirror image of “HIS” bathroom except for the walk-in shower and sink design. I used custom framed mirrors with different frames for each. Both bathrooms have a wonderful spa feel with plenty of space to groom. Tustin
Tustin, CA -
The Parlor is a combination of re-used items and new. I had the sofa reupholstered in a plush iridescent fabric and added a fun striped fabric for the welting and outside panels. The side tables in dark wood show off her Mom’s old lamps. The artwork above the sofa is custom botanical pieces found in California. My client loves to relax on the sofa to read and look out into the courtyard. Tustin
Design House 2008 -
This spacious balcony hideaway is a place to gather. Using indoor comforts, lush plant life and sophisticated fabrics you will lose yourself in this astonishing setting. Newport Coast

A long and narrow Family room becomes open and warm. I designed the custom built-in cabinetry to house the fireplace, TV, movies, books and collectibles. The ceiling was coffered with cove lighting, recessed lighting and skylights to brighten a dark room. Yorba Linda
Lake Arrowhead, CA -
My clients wanted a fun playroom with dual function. I incorporated a custom daybed with large drawers below for storage and a queen sleeper sofa to give them more sleeping areas for the future grandchildren. The pool table, TV, music system and dart board really helped in making this space fun for all not to mention the beautiful surrounding mountains and lake view. Lake Arrowhead Mountains

The use of warm textures and a mixture of styles really gave this Family room a cozy feel. The fireplace had been painted brick and very small. I designed a custom fireplace surround, added crystals for a modern touch and made the fireplace a centerpiece for the room. Orange

This is the second guest bath that needed a facelift. New cabinet, granite countertop, fresh paint, new faucets and fixtures and tumbled travertine brought this guest bath from rundown to fresh and renewed. Tustin
